*Matatabi (also known as silvervine) is a climbing plant native to East Asia, long used as a natural stimulant for cats. Like catnip, it can trigger playful and euphoric behavior — but even more cats respond to it. In fact, while about one in three cats shows no interest in catnip, studies have found that nearly 80% react to matatabi. It’s a gentle, natural way to support enrichment, reduce stress, and encourage activity.
